The original and Branded companies retained the former prices of the comestible oil painting and Banaspati ghee as compared to the global rates.
Vanaspati Ghee Association Mahmood Molvi said that the companies were dealing Vanaspati Ghee at the price of Rs 15,200 per maund which was reduced to Rs 11,850 after a cut of Rs 2950.

“Ex-mill rates were formerly reduced but the retailers haven’t dropped the prices due to the negligence of the original administration. The original administration must take notice on the matter. The original request has reduced the prices by 22. ”
The former vice president of Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers Association Umar Rehan Shaikh claimed that at least Rs 79 per kilogram was reduced on ghee and elible oil paintingprices.However, the comestible oil painting and ghee prices would be reduced, “ If Pakistani rupee further strengthens. ”

He added that the prices of the products were reduced by Rs 41 per kilogram, whereas, the rates were farther dropped by Rs 46 per kg after rupee strengthened against the US bone
.
On the other hand, Umar Rehan Shaikh said that the price of comestible oil painting in the global request was $990 per tonne last month which was reduced to $990 per tonne after a drop of $112.

Shaikh further said that ex-mill rate of Banaspati ghee was fixed at Rs 350 per kg and Rs 370 per kg for cooking oil painting. He detailed that the periodic consumption of ghee and cuisine oil painting of Pakistan is 4.21 million tonnes, whereas, the country has a stock of over 500,500 tonnes of win oil painting. Shaikh said that the demand was significantly reduced due to affectation.
Molvi added that Pakistan has imported stocks of wheat due to a deficit which bring Rs 93 per kg to the importers. “ The flour should be vended at the price of Rs 122 per kg after the wheat import at lower price, still. the flour is being vended at Rs136 per kg in the original request. ”
