Voice of The People Report: VOP Latest Breaking News Pakistani Govt cuts petrol and diesel prices owing to the decreasing trend of petroleum prices in the international market, the finance ministry said in a statement.
Massive Relief by Pakistan Govt Slashes Petrol Price by Rs 40 & High Speed Diesel by Rs15 Per Litre
The new price for petrol and diesel will be Rs283.38 and Rs303.18 per litre, respectively, which will go into effect from October 16, 2023.
Last Two weeks ago, the Pakistani Govt slashed the price of petrol by Rs 8 per litre and high speed diesel by Rs 11 per litre.
In a notification, the ministry stated that in the wake of variations in the international price of petroleum products and improvement in the exchange rates, the government has decided to revise consumer prices.
Following last two weeks ago the reduction, the new price of petrol was Rs 323.38 per litre and Rs 318.18 per litre for High speed diesel.
